Hi! I’m originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but I spent a big part of my adult life living in Mexico, where I really found my stride in the hospitality industry through sales, event planning, and wedding coordination. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, I’ve always loved the energy of hospitality and the opportunity to connect with people. For me, great service is about more than just taking an order—it’s about creating an experience and making sure every guest leaves having enjoyed their time with us.

Living surrounded by warm tropical mountains and the Pacific Ocean, seafood has always been a familiar part of my life, so making the switch from the Pacific to the Atlantic felt natural. In many ways, joining Warren’s feels like all of my experiences have somehow prepared me for this opportunity! I’m excited to be part of such a well-known seafood destination and especially proud to support a female veteran-led project of this size and vision. I’m looking forward to helping create great experiences for our guests and watching Warren’s continue to grow!

For Chef Adam Sainsbury, great food has always been about more than what's on the plate-it's about family, tradition, and bringing people together around the table. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Adam has spent more than 25 years in restaurants across New England, from the bustling kitchens of New York City and Boston to the rugged coast of Maine and the communities he proudly calls home.

Along the way, he has had the privilege of working with multiple James Beard Award-winning chefs, experiences that helped shape his respect for honest cooking, quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Adam has built his career by blending classic New England flavors with the techniques and creativity he's gathered throughout the Northeast. Whether leading fine dining kitchens, neighborhood restaurants, or waterfront establishments, he's always believed the best meals begin with fresh, local ingredients and are served with warmth and care.

From fresh local seafood and comforting coastal favorites to seasonal specials inspired by the region's farms and waters, every dish is prepared with the same goal: to make every guest feel like they've come home for a great meal. As a Kittery Native, John's connection to Warren's goes back long before he joined the team. His grandparents celebrated their wedding reception at Warren's in 1955, his father was a fry-cook here in 1982, and years later, his mother worked as a waitress here while pregnant with him. Today, that connection continues with John serving as Facilities Manager and his partner, Bailee, serving as Middle-of-House Manager. Warren’s has since become part of the story for another generation, as John and Bailee raise their two young children, Jackson and Mia, here in Kittery.

Having spent the past 15 years working in numerous restaurant positions, John brings a unique understanding of both the guest experience and what it takes to keep a large restaurant operating behind the scenes. As Facilities Manager, he oversees preventative maintenance, equipment and building projects, vendor coordination, and the day-to-day needs of the property. Outside of Warren's, John is a licensed Maine REALTOR® and he loves wildlife, teaching, and spending time with family.
